Individual Practice with Alex

One-to-one experiential exploration for queer men interested in something they want to change, something that feels constrained, or something they want to experience more fully.

What the practice looks like

We begin with what is actually happening in your life—something you want to change, something that feels constrained, or something you’re curious to experience more fully. There is no fixed curriculum and no prescribed version of where you should end up.

Our work takes place through a combination of Preparation Guides and 60-minute one-on-one sessions, which can happen remotely or in person. What we actually do depends on what you’re exploring. A session might include conversation and reflection, breath or meditation, embodied practices, or experiments with expression and connection.

The practice can also move into erotic and sexual exploration. Your Preparation Guide may invite practices to explore on your own, and for some clients, an in-person session may include consensual erotic or sexually embodied practice together. Nothing is assumed; we decide what is useful based on your intentions, boundaries, and what emerges.

The aim is not simply insight, but capacity: being able to respond authentically even when something is at stake.

My approach

Individual Practice is informed by the Queer Sovereignty Method and the Sovereignty Loop™, but it isn’t limited to them. I draw from the broader body of work I’ve developed and facilitated, including Conscious Kink, along with breathwork, meditation, somatic and psycho-spiritual practices, contemporary psychology, neuroscience, and years of learning in queer kink and pleasure-positive spaces.

My training includes Advanced Facilitation with The Body Electric School and trauma-informed practices. Years of facilitating experiences around sexuality, pleasure, intimacy, kink, and connection have taught me how to hold environments where these parts of ourselves can be explored directly—not just talked about. The practice is collaborative and consent-forward. I’m not a psychotherapist, and QSM isn’t therapy.

The structure

We begin with a complimentary 30-minute discovery call. It’s a chance to get to know each other, talk about what you’re interested in exploring, and see whether working together feels like a good fit.

If we decide to continue, I generally recommend beginning with three sessions. Three sessions are a recommendation, not a commitment—there is no obligation to continue.

Sessions are $125, paid individually after each session. Before each session, I prepare a Preparation Guide with selected readings, reflection prompts, embodied practices, exercises, and questions to explore. After we meet, your next Preparation Guide can include reflections on our previous session as well as new material to explore before the next one.

Sessions can happen remotely or in person in San Francisco, and we can combine the two when useful. In-person sessions may also be possible when I’m traveling or by prior arrangement. We’ll decide together how to space sessions so there is time to explore and integrate between them.

Tell me a little about what you’re looking for. I read every note myself and will reply personally.

This goes straight to Alex. You won’t be added to any list.
